From Day 1, the team at MEET Las Vegas knew we would be hosting a lot of special events at our venue. We love being a part of so many momentous occasions, especially weddings. Our blank canvas space can be transformed into an extraordinary wedding venue that turns every happy couple’s dream for their big day into a reality. Join us for a walk down the memory lane aisle as we revisit 10 of our favorite weddings we’ve been a part of as we celebrate our 10th anniversary this year.
1. A Showroom Transformation
Sparks were flying when Casey and Daniel Goshen tied the knot at MEET Las Vegas on September 25, 2010. Their elegant ceremony was held in our Main Showroom. After the ceremony, guests were invited to our Outdoor Pavilion for a cocktail hour while MEET staff transformed the Showroom into a club-lounge style reception. From hanging beads and stylish lounge couches, to custom light projections and an ice cream food truck, this couple had a night they (and the team at MEET) will never forget.
2. Ripped from the Pages of a Storybook
The Jecenia Smith and William Bennett wedding was held at MEET Las Vegas in April 2013. This magical wedding included an outdoor ceremony with the bride arriving by horse drawn carriage, a unique seating arrangement that enabled the couple to be encircled by their guests, a whimsical reception in our Main Showroom, and a custom castle wedding cake that was straight from the pages of a storybook.

3. Elegant Shades of Purple
Mary Joy David and Perry Peredo tied the knot at MEET Las Vegas on February 8, 2014. This couple held their ceremony on the second-floor Ballroom and their reception in the Main Showroom with purple LED uplights. Their wedding was complete with a photo booth, dance floor, mini desserts, and a bedazzled wedding cake. Their custom monogram gobo was designed to be a symbol of hope, as our bride is a breast cancer survivor. We loved working with this amazing couple to plan their special day and we have been obsessed with their glitzy wedding cake ever since!
4. Creative Use of Space
Olga Kupriyanova and Dhivy Jayaseelan celebrated their wedding with us in September 2015. Their wedding was unique, because we held both the ceremony and reception in our Main Showroom. The two separate event areas were separated by drape, and we used our Martin Cyclo custom lighting to create different a feel between the spaces. For example, the ceremony had a lovely pink hue while the reception had a deeper purple to compliment the elegant plum linen and floral centerpieces held by lighted acrylic candelabras. To top it off (literally), their wedding cake was topped with a custom topper that looked exactly like the bride and groom.
5. Elegant Romance
Courtney Broadbent was a Sales and Events Coordinator at MEET Las Vegas for many years before she decided to hold her special day with us in November 2016. Having worked with many amazing vendors during her time at MEET, it came as no surprise that many of the elements of her gorgeous and romantic wedding featured vendor partners of ours, including Quest Events who did their drapery. The end result was a stunning and romantic event that featured a ceremony on our Outdoor Pavilion and a lavish reception in our Main Showroom with the best that the wedding industry has to offer.
6. The Day of Love
Shanee Moas and Daryl Rosenberg decided MEET Las Vegas was the perfect place to have their wedding ceremony and reception on August 6, 2017. This Jewish wedding was held on the Jewish Day of Love – it was meant to be! Despite the Las Vegas heat, the ceremony was held on our Outdoor Pavilion with a beautifully draped chappa and market lights, but guests were able to cool down at the reception in the Main Showroom before hitting the dance floor.

7. The Dream Wedding
Concetta (Connie) and Gaobain (Pepi) tied the knot at MEET Las Vegas on September 14, 2017. Their wedding was put on by Wish Upon a Wedding, a non-profit that grants weddings and vow renewals to couples facing serious illness or a life-altering circumstance. It was our pleasure to help this happy couple have the wedding of their dreams by hosting the event at our venue! Their big day included a special performance by an Elvis impersonator, a surprise video message from Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant, and a gorgeous floral backdrop for their ceremony custom created by Rock Paper Bloom.
The Full Story:
Gaobain was given 6 months from his doctor. Concetta has had/has breast cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, cervical cancer, kidney and bladder cancer (basically it has spread everywhere) but she is focused on taking care of Gaobain nickname “Pepi” who is in hospice for congestive heart failure but also hads kidney failure (dialysis 3 times a week), and diabetes. The couple was married (March 23, 1992) for 14 years before getting divorced, but they stayed in touch and never really separated. It has always been their dream to get married again, but life and illness have gotten in the way. With only a few months left they wanted to be married again and spend the rest of their lives together.

8. Miami Meets Las Vegas
Dale Vansteenberg and John Taylor planned their destination wedding all the way from Miami, Florida. They wanted a non-traditional wedding that also provided a way to celebrate with family and friends. Their wedding ceremony and reception in September 2018 brought the South Beach Miami club vibe to Las Vegas with white lounge furniture and our Martin Cyclos lighting set to a cool-blue. Following the ceremony, they stepped outside to our Outdoor Pavillion for dinner and were surrounded by lighted trapezoid pillars and our exterior lighting in a rainbow affect. They even had a personalized gobo of their name that was projected on the exterior of our building.

9. Modern and Floral
After Michelle Reynoso and Matthew Rodriguez tied the knot at the beautiful remote location of the Dry Bed Lake, they continued their simply elegant wedding at MEET Las Vegas in April 2019. Keeping with their modern style, they opted for the clean white color palette MEET has to offer and brought in lots of fresh flowers with a touch of greenery and a hint of gold. In the middle of the reception, Matthew surprised his new wife with a personal serenade on guitar that didn’t leave a dry eye in the room!
10. A Weekend of Celebrations
Oriaku and Earl shared an entire weekend of celebrations with us at MEET Las Vegas. Kicking off the festivities was their rehearsal ceremony followed by the rehearsal dinner the prior evening. Earl and Oriaku tied the knot at MEET Las Vegas on September 28, 2019. Once the ceremony in our Outdoor Pavilion wrapped, guests were asked to write down pieces of advice and wishes for the happy couple. They celebrated their Nigerian American heritage with traditional dances, complete with multiple ornate wardrobe changes in colors of burgundy, blue and gold. The reception in our Main Showroom included a delicious menu with Nigerian inspired offerings, a to-go candy bar, and a wedding cake and grooms cake that highlighted both of their professions. They closed out the weekend with a Sunday Brunch with family and friends both local and who have traveled from afar.
Many brides dream of their wedding for their entire life. At MEET Las Vegas, we can make that dream turn into reality. Visit our website to learn more about the custom options we have available for your big day.
