Successfully Rebranding Events

By August 16, 2018

As the times change, so do opinions. Events and organizations rebrand to keep things fresh within the industry.  Event Manager Blog has eight steps to consider when rebranding your event and we’ve highlighted the four that we think are the most important to consider.

  1. Story– What does your event or organization currently portray? How do you want it to be seen in the future? The first thing to discover is what you are missing from your current event that you want to receive after changing the logo, messaging, and audience.
  2. Audience– Your audience is one of the most important aspects! If you don’t have them, you don’t have an event. The goal of your rebranding should be to ensure that your brand promise and story resonates with every possible attendee.
  3. Evolve– Don’t get caught up hosting the same few events every single year. Your audience is evolving and so should your event. Get to know attendee personas and figure out where your marketing tactics need to be changed or reevaluated.
  4. Launch– Welcome your brand new logo, event, idea with a warm reception. Get the word out about the changes you have made with various types of communication. Use social media and emails to create a buzz about the launch of your rebranding.
