Biz Bash presented its Best New Venue award to MEET Las Vegas this week. The West Event Style Award for Best New Venue was presented by the leading events industry publisher BizBash in Pasadena, CA on Thursday, June 14.
The award recognized MEET as the most outstanding new event location to open in 2010 in the Western United States.
“MEET is excited and honored to be recognized by this prestigious award,” said MEET CEO Dan Maddux. “MEET’s vision is to be the most flexible, unique and innovative venue in the industry and we thank the judges for recognizing and rewarding our efforts.”
Winners were selected by a panel of event industry professionals and BizBash editors. Competition was open to any venue in the western region of the U.S. that opened between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010.

The West Event Style Awards seek to recognize the most creative minds in the western U.S. events industry. MEET’s innovative interior and exterior technologies and built-in rigging infrastructure allow clients virtually unlimited event design flexibility to cater to unlimited wants, needs, and desires.
The 2011 BizBash West Event Style Awards were presented in 16 categories, including Best Corporate Event Concept, Best Gift Bag, Best Invitation Design, Best Catering at an Event, Best New Venue, Best Video, and Best Fresh Idea. Other winners included the Governors Balls following the Emmys and Oscars and the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
