Make Your Winter Event Hot

Does the thought of a longer winter bring a chill down your spine? Last week, our good friend Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, and declared six more weeks of winter this year. This may not be ideal planning weather, but with some guidance from Event Birdie, you’ll learn how to turn up the heat at your event.

  • Warm Welcome – Did somebody yell FIRE?! Set off your entry look with some flames.  Not only will it create a “hot” effect, but it looks awesome.
  • Cook with Fire – If you’re catering your event, you can include something like a hot wok station or s’mores! Guests will love to see their food cooked in front of their eyes.
  • Candles – A candlelit evening can create an elegant atmosphere making it perfect for smaller, intimate events.
  • Up lighting– Using warm colors to up light can give the illusion of a warm and cozy room.

Are you planning an event in the upcoming weeks?  Share some ideas in the comment section on what you think would be hot.
