Disney’s live action ‘Beauty and the Beast’ set a record with its recent $170 million opening weekend. With the rebirth of this romantic Disney classic, brides-to-be everywhere are sure to need the help of their wedding planners to make their own fairy tale weddings come to life.

Planning a storybook wedding using elements of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ may be easier than you think. In fact, Disney Weddings even creates a new Belle-inspired wedding dress yearly. If the thought of a wedding dress like Belle’s isn’t enough for your bride, weddingbells has 15 ideas on how you can plan a wedding that will go down in the books as a “tale as old as time”. Here are some of our favorites:

  • Red Rose Bouquet– No other flower represents Beauty and the Beast better than a red rose. A full bouquet of them is classic and gorgeous.
  • Blue Table Accents– Blue can fit in well with any theme, and the Beast’s tux happens to be blue during the famous ballroom dance scene in the both the animated and live action movie versions.
  • Stained Glass Cake– A hand-painted, stained glass cake will not only capture the essence of the movie but will be a showstopper at the wedding.
  • Teacups– Chip is one of the most memorable and endearing characters in the Disney films. Pay homage to him with a display of teacups filled with roses atop of candelabras for a fun centerpiece.
