If you’re planning a socially distanced holiday party this year, there are several things you can do to ensure attendees will have plenty of fun! Here are a few activities to consider for your holiday party – even if it’s virtual.
1- Christmas Movie Costume Contest
Costume contests don’t have to be limited to Halloween! Have attendees dress as their favorite Christmas movie character for a costume contest. Movies such as Elf, Christmas Vacation, the Grinch have such unique characters and fun costumes!
2- Secret Santa
Secret Santa is a classic holiday gift exchange. If you’re hosting the exchange in person, have everyone open their gifts one at a time at a safe distance from one another. If you’re hosting a virtual Secret Santa, make sure names are drawn well in advance so gifts can be mailed to the recipients.
3- Holiday Trivia
There’s nothing more competitive than a friendly game of trivia. Online trivia platforms such as Kahoot! and Jackbox Games make it easy to play holiday themed trivia no matter where your attendees is located.
4- Holiday Happy Hour
Hosting a holiday happy hour is a great way to unwind and get in the holiday spirit. For in-person events, safely serve cocktails individually and for virtual events, provide the cocktail recipe ahead of time so everyone can make their own!
