3 Tech Trends to Try

By July 26, 2018

As technology has ramped up in recent years, we’ve seen events adapt by incorporating the most recent tech trends. Planners are using these trends to make events more interactive and meaningful. The Connect Corporate blog has 8 event tech trends to be on the lookout for in 2018. Here are the three most important developments we think planners should consider.

  • RFID– Gather your attendee data via radio-frequency identification badges. RFID is being used to gather real-time data by finding out who is attending your event or event sessions and using it to follow up with attendees after the event is over.
  • Chatbots– Siri and Alexa probably come to mind when you think of chatbots, but events are using bots similar to these to help with attendee engagement and provide information more accurately and efficiently. Chatbots can also help to keep planners organized in the midst of the planning chaos.
  • Social Media Walls– This tactic has become a popular addition to events because it shows real-time online reactions and attendee interactions which is key for a successful event. Make sure attendees know your event’s hashtag and watch your social feed come to life!

Would you use any of these three event tech trends? Let us know which one you would consider implementing at your next event!
