The saying has it you eat with your eyes before you eat with your mouth. So don’t tuck away your catered food at a buffet table in the corner. Instead, bring it forward and create a spectacle that will wow your attendees. Event Manager Blog has tantalizing ways to display food at your next event, and here are three of our favorites:
- Tower of Shrimp– There will be nothing shrimpy about the size of this popular appetizer tower. Rather than having the shrimp cocktails already pre-made, opt for an ice tower and place the shrimp in the carved out place. We guarantee it’ll be a main focal point for guests to talk about.
- Food Tree– If you’re lacking table space at your venue and want to go for something taller instead of wider, look into a food “tree”. The tree concept allows for foods to be at different levels creating an eye catching piece. This works exceptionally well for confined spaces and gives attendees more room to move around and enjoy the space.
- Charcuterie Display– To keep your event budget friendly, use repurposed furniture to act as a holding area for something like a charcuterie display. Turn ordinary features like dressers or side tables into an original station that attracts attention. Place the charcuterie boards on the furniture for a rustic feel.
